Congrats to Chris “The Irish Pittbull” Buckner for defeating his opponent, Ben Foster in 1:20 of the first round. This was second pro fight as a mixed martial artist, bringing his record to 2-0.
Buckner immediately took his opponent down, advanced to mount, took his back and pounded his opponent to a ref stoppage in 80 seconds of furry.
While battling a cold, cutting weight, and having 4 opponents back out on him in the course of the last few months, Buckner managed to persevere, showing the heart and determination of a champion. His dominating performance under duress only shows the potential of this young upcoming athlete. Great job “Buck” and as always…

It was a great fight. First cagefest I’ve been to. Seeing the hybrid guys there and buck grant kind of makes me want to come back to hybrid and train and mayne eventually become a fighter. Great job!
